Life of a Showgirl Cocktail: Portofino Orange Glitter Sparkler

A sparkling cocktail inspired by Taylor Swift's Life of a Showgirl album, made with fresh mandarin juice, vodka, Cointreau, grenadine, and Prosecco, finished with edible orange glitter.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 oz fresh mandarin orange juice (¼ cup + 2 T, see notes)
  • 1 oz vodka (2 T)
  • .5 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec (1 T)
  • 1/8 teaspoon grenadine (chilled)
  • Edible orange glitter
  • 2 oz Prosecco (¼ cup, chilled)

Instructions

  • Shake vodka, tangerine juice, and Cointreau with ice until well-chilled.
  • Strain into a coupe glass or champagne flute, then stir in the grenadine and a generous dash of edible glitter.
  • Top with chilled Prosecco and garnish with a dehydrated or candied orange slice. Serve immediately.

Notes

3 oz of fresh mandarin juice is about 4–5 mandarins, depending on their size and juiciness.
