Cara Cara orange juice, lime, zero-proof tequila, sparkling water, and grenadine make this tequila sunrise mocktail a bright, bubbly drink for any alcohol-free occasion.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 oz fresh orange juice (I prefer Cara Cara)
  • ½ oz tequila alternative (I use Ritual Zero Proof)
  • ¼ oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz sparkling water (chilled)
  • ¼-½ oz grenadine (chilled)

Instructions

  • Add fresh orange juice, non-alcoholic tequila, and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake until chilled, about 10 seconds, then strain into a champagne or cocktail glass.*
  • Top with sparkling water. Slowly pour in grenadine — use ½ oz for a sweeter, classic sunrise, or ¼ oz for a more tart flavor.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and serve.

Notes

*This recipe yields around 5 oz, which fits well in most champagne flutes. You can also serve it over ice in a rocks or highball glass.
